Eligibility and requirements
Money Maximum: $250,000 for fiction feature films Maximum: $150,000 for theatrical documentaries Non-repayable: An interest-free contribution, to be spent as outlined in your agreement, that does not have to be paid back as long as the conditions are met Funding limits This program will cover 100% of the eligible costs (All contribution amounts are subject to the overall availability of funds and the number of projects supported) Your project Must have a complete insurance package including an Errors & Omissions Insurance Policy satisfactory to Telefilm Must be made available in both official languages16, in either in either subtitled or dubbed versions Must be closed-captioned Must be available in described video, regardless of the distribution platform Sufficient funds must be reserved for these elements in the project’s production budget Use this to Cover direct expenses relating to the production, and post-production of the project
