Eligibility and requirements

Money Maximum: $ 5 million Note: At Ontario's discretion, loans may be considered in place of any grant funding Funding limits This program will cover a maximum of 75% of eligible costs You Have a for-profit business (legal entity or limited partnership) Are registered to carry out business in Ontario. You operate within Ontario Have at least three years of operations/financial statements Employ at least 5 full-time equivalent (FTE’s) active employees Demonstrate any of the following impacts due to the imposition of U.S. tariffs: operate in a sector extensively targeted by U.S. tariffs are significantly exposed to trade risk, or pivoting operations to supply a customer that is looking to replace a current supplier due to tariffs Use this to Develop your business Increase capacity and create and secure jobs in Ontario Procure advanced equipment and facility modification Develop innovative technologies Localize new markets Modify existing products to enter new sectors Increase the resiliency of Ontario’s economy in response to trade related challenges
