Eligibility and requirements

Money Maximum of $15,000 Eligibility To qualify, an organization must: Focus on arts and/or culture as a core part of its mission Be based in Manitoba and operate within the province Have been in continuous operation for at least three years before applying Be structured as one of the following: A registered charity A registered non-profit A registered for-profit (only for book and periodical publishers) A collective (minimum two members, majority residing in Manitoba) An organization with a comparable alternative structure Use this to Reasonable allocation for staff hours for the project Professional fees for consultants, specialists, etc. Travel related to the project Venue fees related to the project Admin and overhead costs (no more than 15% of the grant request) Note: You may apply for a second Exploration grant at a subsequent deadline if needed
