Eligibility and requirements
Money Minimum: $75,000 Maximum: $500,000 Funding limits You must contribute a minimum of 25% of the total project cost You should have capital or financing in place for the project at the time of application (at least 50% of your contribution) Eligibility Your business must be at least one of the following: An Alberta-based tourism business An Indigenous tourism business A Not-for-profit organization and/or municipality with a focus on tourism Your business must also have: Been in operation for a minimum of six months A tourism offering that is available for more than 120 days per year A business plan The ability to fulfil Travel Alberta’s reporting requirements Your project should: Drive job creation and economic growth Fill high-demand product gap in the region Expand seasonal product offerings Support Indigenous tourism Implement sustainability measures
