If you are a young entrepreneur between the ages of 18-39 years, you could get a flexible, equity-free startup business loan of up to $75,000, including up to $50,000 in financing from BDC* along with 2 years of 1:1 hand-matched mentorship. *conditions may apply

Eligibility and requirements
Money Maximum loan amount: up to $25,000 from Futurpreneur with a term over 5 years + 50,000 from BDC (if needed) with a term over 5 years Interest-only payments: first year Futurepreneur loan: Interest is charged at CIBC’s prime rate +3% A one-time loan management fee of 1% of the total loan amount is charged at time of disbursement BDC loan: Interest is charged at BDC’s current floating base rate +1.65% Interest-only repayment in the first year, commencing from the BDC loan authorization date You You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident aged 18 to 39 Can demonstrate some training or experience related to your business idea You cannot be a contractor or an agent working for another already-existing business Your business’ revenues must be deposited into a Canadian business bank account and be subject to Canadian taxes Full eligibility criteria and full list of ineligible businesses can be found on the program website

Sign up and register for Futurpreneur’s Core Startup Program. Share your business details to get matched with the right program. Submit your draft plan and cash flow—or get help creating them Futurpreneur reviews your credit and plan for eligibility. Provide final documents: plan, cash flow, registration, and ID. Submit your complete business plan and cash flow. If approved, you’ll get financing and be matched with a mentor. Meet your mentor and complete orientation. Once conditions are met, receive your financing. Your mentor supports you through launch and networking events. Access resources to launch and grow your business.
